The College’s Joint Rehabilitation Committee (JRC) has an equal number of members from faculty and from the administration and assists faculty members through the sick leave, short-term leave, long-term leave, and the return to work process. The JRC offers guidance and strives to find suitable accommodations to support the disability and rehabilitation needs of faculty members. The JRC actively works to promote accommodation and return to work plans that help ensure a successful transition back to work for faculty. All return to work planning and accommodations are based on medical documentation. Depending on individual need and medically-based requirements, the JRC helps plan a return to work for faculty members at the earliest safe time.
